Bobbie Wylie of Enterprise Fleet Management presented a lease proposal for six 2026 Ford F-150 police-package pickups intended for the Sheriff’s Office. Wylie said the vehicles would have upgraded brakes and that monthly lease payments would be about $2,000 per unit; approximately half the total cost would be paid as a down payment.
Commissioner Vern Eames asked whether paying annually would yield interest savings; Wylie said yes. Commissioner Eames moved to approve moving forward with the program; Commissioner Ronald Buhler seconded and the motion carried.
