Public works details sewer upsizing, water-plant upgrades and multiple transportation projects

Jim also reported the water-reclamation facility work wrapped up (additional MBR blower installed), PLC/SCADA programming at the water treatment plant is complete and staff training is underway, and the Jensen Pump Track was completed that afternoon.
He said Lift Station 11 bid documents went out, a preferred vendor was selected, and the city purchased property for the Heller Wellfield and is planning demolition and well closure. Jim reported 17 active grants and several pending grant applications; he flagged SR 531 widening Phase 3 as underfunded with an estimated $18.3 million need for the 59th–67th segment.
