Board Approves New Lead Campus Supervisor Role to Strengthen Student Safety

The Lammersville Joint Unified School District board approved a new classified job description and salary for a lead campus supervisor, effective Oct. 1, 2025, intended to provide team leadership for campus supervisors across sites.
Staff told the board that the district had reached a scale in the number of campus supervisors that warrants a lead position to act as a conduit between day-to-day operations and administration. "We recommend approval of the job description," staff said.
Trustee Samykh Modi said he asked questions about strategy and funding and was satisfied with the answers, and emphasized school safety as a priority: "One of his top 3 priorities when I met with him a few weeks ago was student safety," Modi said. Trustee Stephanie Olson moved the item and Modi seconded; the motion carried on a voice vote with five ayes and no nos.
The new lead campus supervisor is intended to centralize oversight and improve coordination; staff said the role will help support existing campus supervisors and may be important as the district grows.
