County to match $100,600 for emergency‑vehicle signal preemption under federal Safe Streets grant

Staff said the county's required match is $100,600 and identified unspent uniform‑category funds from fire rescue, EMS and police to cover that match. "We just received it in 2026," a presenter said of the grant award. The committee moved to approve the grant match so the project may proceed.
