Item 3: staff described a request to rezone about 1 acre from MHP to MSF6 for a manufactured-home lot near Shetland Lane; an individual who identified himself for the record as Carlos Eduardo Antunes (and a second speaker who identified himself as Roberto Antunes) spoke briefly about living arrangements on the site.
Item 4: staff summarized a rezoning request to permit an accessory dwelling unit on Missouri Lane; applicant Nina Velez Martinez told the commission the existing home is black-mold infested, that the family has moved into a camper because her fiance has cancer, and that they plan to replace the camper with a tiny home next month. "The reason for the zoning is the home that exists on there is black mold infested... my fiance has cancer and we have moved into the camper that's on there," she said.
Item 5: James McDowell (2000 Highway 905) confirmed staff coverage of a request to rezone 1.73 acres from FA to SF40 to combine parcels on Oak Lake Road; he said no additional information was needed and the item will return next week.
Item 6: Caitlin Wymer of G3 Engineering spoke on behalf of a 13 fee-simple townhome project and said the proposal meets parking requirements and includes sidewalks and a 1,200-square-foot community garden; she noted existing culverts under the crossings that would likely need improvement when work occurs. Staff and applicants expect each of these items to return next week for final action.
