Assistant Superintendent Dr. Natalie Winspear presented the LCAP mid‑year update for 2024–25 (year one of the current three‑year plan). She said Goal 1 emphasized teacher professional development, student engagement and MTSS; Goal 2 concentrated on English learners; and Goal 3 focused on social‑emotional learning and attendance interventions. Winspear also reported the district received the Strong Workforce grant for a third consecutive year.
On student outcomes, she said chronic absenteeism has decreased since the prior year and the California Healthy Kids Survey indicates students report feeling safe at school. Winspear noted the Wellness Together program has provided support to 130 students during the 2024–25 year to date.
