Chantell Hotaling and Keith Batman of the Cayuga County Board of Elections presented December activity numbers and year-end work to the Government Operations Committee on Jan. 13.
Hotaling and Batman reported 112 new registrations, 59 address changes, 14 party changes, 77 name changes, 47 other changes, 31 updated registrations and 30 incomplete applications, for a total of 370 voters reported in December 2025. Committee members were told staff prepared reimbursement grant applications, completed final General Election surveys, prepared town chargebacks for reimbursement, released voter lists to fire districts as requested, and completed maintenance certification for voting machines.
The presentation summarized routine administrative and compliance work the BOE completed between Dec. 1 and Dec. 23, 2025. The committee did not take separate action on the report; the BOE later brought forward a contract authorization as a resolution that the committee approved in the same meeting.
