During public comment, Jane Benham, representing Avon Park Main Street, asked for an update on decorative lights and racing banners the organization submitted to the CRA.
Jeanette, CRA staff, said she had been delayed by weekend workshops and currently had one bid (from an online retailer) but would gather more quotes and meet with Benham within a week to provide an update. "Give me a week, and I should be able to meet up with you and let you know what we find out about the lighting," Jeanette said. She also said she had spoken with staff and would coordinate with sign vendors to develop racing banners for upcoming events.
