Andrew Meek, Elko County GIS technician, told the board that the county added 15 address points since the last meeting and removed two in Carlin after a parcel merger left a single address at 211 West Bush Street. "We've had 15 address points added to the county since our last meeting," Meek said.
Meek also reported an alley vacation correction that now shows as a right of way in the GIS and described work with the Bureau of Land Management to determine whether County Road 725 should be shown as a BLM road or as a county-maintained road in GIS records. He said the change affects how the road is classified in both BLM roadway engineering maps and county GIS layers and that the work to reconcile records is ongoing.
