The board approved a $61,560 contract with Teamwork Speech Therapy to provide an occupational therapist for the 2025–26 school year after staff said demand exceeded current capacity. "We entered the 25–26 school year with an occupational therapist in what is called a CODA," said the staff presenter, explaining the recommendation to add a full occupational therapist.
Trustees confirmed that this is a special-education expenditure and that the money will come from the general fund. Trustee Olson moved to approve the contract and Trustee Bolle seconded; the motion passed with the student preferential vote and a recorded approval.
