Student trustee highlights winter formal, competitions and leadership events

Student Trustee Donovan Rudish told the board student leadership is planning a winter formal on Feb. 7 and described other leadership activities, including the district hosting one of six regional speech-and-debate events.
"This year, we've decided to do a bit of rebranding… The theme this year is masquerade," Rudish said, briefing trustees on fundraising and planned activities. He also noted recent student achievements: boys basketball beat Manteca 50–37 and boys soccer beat Oakdale 3–1. Rudish urged trustees and the public to attend school events and previewed curriculum nights and science fairs across feeder schools.
