EMS reports 411 runs, Fishing with EMS drew about 70 people; Board directs repairs for Medic 4

Alec Trembath, Clay County EMS Director, told the commissioners the EMS department was on run 411 for emergency runs and out-of-town transfers and that staffing trainings and orientations continue: one student completed orientation and another began orientation.
Trembath reviewed EMS Week activities, saying five daycares toured ambulances and the Fishing with EMS event drew approximately 70 children and families. He said Medic 4 requires repairs and is planned to be traded in later in 2026 or early 2027; the Board directed that necessary repairs be completed so Medic 4 is safe to drive until the trade-in.
