WFRC outlines TIP cycle process; TAC defers approval of February minutes to May

WFRC planner Ben Wuthrich opened the substantive portion of the meeting with an informational overview of the annual Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) cycle and the evaluation process used to score and prioritize project requests. The presentation provided the technical basis staff used later in the meeting to recommend allocations for STP, TAP, CMAQ and CRP projects.
Chair Coby Wilson noted that the committee will review the February 25, 2026 meeting minutes at the May meeting and did not finalize them on March 25. The TIP timeline and evaluation criteria presented by WFRC establish the next procedural steps: staff recommendations were forwarded to Trans Com for consideration in the regional TIP adoption schedule.
