Trans Com recommends 2028 Transportation Alternatives Program projects
Summary
WFRC staff reviewed anticipated TAP apportionments and Trans Com unanimously recommended the 2028 Transportation Alternatives Program project list, developed with technical advisory committees, to the Regional Council.
The Transportation Coordinating Committee unanimously recommended the 2028 Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) project list after a staff review of the anticipated apportionments. Carlton Christensen moved that Trans Com recommend approval of the TAP list; Councilmember Dan Dugan seconded the motion and the committee approved it without opposition.
WFRC Transportation Improvement Program Coordinator Ben Wuthrich described the funding amounts available and noted the recommended projects were identified in consultation with the Trans Com TACs. The committee’s recommendation will be forwarded to the Regional Council for final action.
