The Finance Committee authorized a contract with CivicPlus, Inc. for website hosting and support not to exceed $17,011.60, effective March 29, 2026 through March 28, 2027, and noted the contract price increase this year reflects the addition of AudioEye accessibility tools to scan for ADA compliance issues.
Information Technology Director B. Sikes presented the item and explained the AudioEye addition and that funds are budgeted for the contract. The committee also approved a 2026 appropriation of $25,461 to pay for Microsoft Exchange Online licensing that had been budgeted in 2025.
Klein moved the CivicPlus contract authorization; the motion passed with seven recorded Ayes and one supervisor absent. Sikes was later granted overnight travel authorization to attend the NYS Local Government IT Directors' Association Spring Conference in Saratoga Springs, May 12–15, 2026.
