Ben Wuthrich (Wasatch Front Regional Council staff) presented a Transportation Improvement Program modification requested by Willard City to add a flashing pedestrian beacon. Wuthrich said the city was "requesting an additional $150,000 in CMAQ funds for a pedestrian beacon project." The TAC moved and approved a recommendation to Trans Com (motion by Brooke Stewart, second by Ashley Thoman).
The committee recorded the motion and approval to recommend the TIP change to the next-level committee (Trans Com). No final CMAQ allocation was recorded in the TAC minutes; the action recorded here is the TAC recommendation to Trans Com for consideration. Project sponsors were reminded to supply required cost estimates and project documentation to support that request.
