Ms. Baer reported spot spraying operations in the southern part of the county and said she will send letters to five landowners regarding excessive thistle infestations, which she described as significantly worse than in previous years. The board also discussed equipment requests for the 2027 proposed budget including a new excavator and a mulching head to aid tree removal operations.
