Commission approves election agreement with City of Clark, SDPAA contract and nursing reimbursement arrangement

On Feb. 17 the Clark County Board approved multiple routine agreements. Commissioners approved a combined election agreement with the City of Clark that will let the two entities share election expenses if the city requires an election for the June 2, 2026 primary. The motion passed with all commissioners recorded as voting aye.
The board also approved an intergovernmental contract between Clark County and the South Dakota Public Assurance Alliance (SDPAA). Separately, the commission approved the State of South Dakota Business Associate Agreement for public-health nursing services; the county will reimburse the state $4,792.06 toward the Clark County public-health nurse's salary and expenses. All motions were approved on unanimous votes, as recorded in the minutes.
