Items approved included resolutions to appoint members to boards and commissions; allocate funds from the FY2026 Council Contingency Fund to nonprofit agencies; procure backup parts, a used deck crane, a belt-press refurbishment kit and a vertical turbine pump rebuild at the county wastewater-treatment plant; approve a change order and a roadway-improvements contract to Satterfield Construction Company of SC, LLC; assign several private-drive road names; authorize continued use and maintenance agreements for document-management software; accept a payment-in-lieu-of-taxes from the Department of Energy Savannah River Field Office for tax year 2025; extend the employee-health program contract with Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Inc.; and — listed among consent items — a resolution to enter into an employee contract with Brian Sanders to serve as Aiken County Administrator.
