Royal City Council convened Aug. 19, 2025, at 7:04 p.m. Mayor Michael Christensen called the meeting to order and a motion (Garcia/Rodriguez) to excuse Councilmembers Fanning and Kannely carried. The council approved the consent agenda on a motion (m/s Garcia/Fanning); consent items included Council minutes from Aug. 5, 2025; payroll dated 08/15/2025 in the amount of $32,950.64; and claims #32169–32182 dated 08/19/2025 totaling $51,619.21.
There were no presentations and no public comment recorded at the meeting. With no further business, a motion by Councilmember Garcia to adjourn carried unanimously and the meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
