Anjali Patel gave a brief child-welfare update saying there were no significant updates and a rescheduled meeting would occur at noon in room 2100. Phil said judges and county staff are discussing ways to increase referrals to a domestic-violence docket and that a meeting to plan referrals is set for Wednesday, August 26. Members suggested scheduling a sheriff presentation on the jail expansion for a future meeting so CJCC can be informed and help answer public questions.
