Fulton County commissioners voted April 2, 2026, to cancel the advertised bid opening for lawn‑maintenance services so that the bid specifications can be revised. Resolution 2026-222 was moved by Commissioner Joe Short and seconded by Commissioner Jeff Rupp; the motion passed 2-0.
According to the meeting record, Dave Lantz said the revisions should add the new Senior Center, include part of the Detwiler building in scope, and remove the airport acreage because airport maintenance is handled separately. The board requested the changes be incorporated into the specifications and asked that the county have the revised bid package ready to re-advertise next week.
