The Board approved an amendment to the existing Otis Elevator Company agreement to add one digital phone line for the Administration Building freight elevator at an additional $4,520, increasing the contract total to $1,289,527 through Sept. 30, 2029 (resolution 26-0537). Commissioners also approved a service agreement for jail fire alarm upgrades for Montgomery County Facilities Management in an amount not to exceed $1,820,124.35 (resolution 26-0554).
Other procurement actions included authorization to advertise for bids for Central Utility Plant upgrades (chillers & controls), an amendment with Shiver Security (Sonitrol) to add service locations for fire monitoring systems, and a purchase of a 2027 tractor for Environmental Services not to exceed $138,253.00.
