The Tecumseh City Council approved a series of resolutions, ordinances and agreements during its Oct. 6 session. Actions recorded in the minutes include adoption of the wellhead protection ordinance prepared by Olsson, adoption of Resolution 2025-16 (Hazard Mitigation Action Plan), approval of Resolution 25-14 (Municipal Annual Certification of Program Compliance to the Nebraska Board of Public Roads Classification and Standards), authorization for the mayor to execute a deed transferring an Economic Development lot, approval of a Siren Memorandum of Understanding with Johnson County, and approval of Pay Application #6 to Farabee Mechanical in the amount of $460,570.14.
The council also approved a street-closure request for Trunk or Treat on Oct. 31 and accepted the consent agenda (Sept. 15 meeting minutes and payment of city bills). All recorded votes on these items were unanimous among members present; Travis Goracke was absent for the session.
