TVRPO recommends UDOT approve two CMAQ project applications to cut emissions

Council Chair Sheldon Birch moved that the TVRPO recommend UDOT approve the two projects; the motion was seconded by Councilmember Kathleen VonHatten (Lake Point) and recorded as APPROVED. The board did not record a roll-call tally in the transcript; the motion was entered into the minutes as approved.
Why it matters: CMAQ funds target projects that reduce vehicle emissions and improve air quality; UDOT review and approval determine which projects proceed to funding and implementation. TVRPO’s recommendation is part of the regional input UDOT considers during project selection.
