During the Aug. 12 meeting, community member Linda Irving proposed donating an Amiot sculpture to be placed at the front of Park Side. Trustees discussed the artistic proposal’s potential benefits and drawbacks but did not take a formal vote or adopt a policy at the meeting.
Superintendent Sara Gramm reported that the high school district decided not to move forward with its bond measure (Measure N) this year; she also said she is collecting five quotes from community members who support district improvements. The board treated both items as discussion topics and listed other agenda items for future consideration.
