Schools report staffing, enrollment and programs ahead of fall term

Superintendent Sara Gramm told the board a new Academic Pathways teacher will be on the Park Side campus and that third-party counseling partners will continue in the new year. Gramm said the Rainbow Room will restart with newly hired aides and described last week’s Kinder Bridge as a "huge success." She also said Site Council parent participation is increasing with 2–3 parents expressing interest.
Brook Haven reported 34 new students and a new-student orientation scheduled for Wednesday. Park Side Principal Molly Bulwa confirmed two combo classes for the upcoming year, noted the extra aide time planned for those classes, and said newly installed portables had power and teachers were preparing rooms. Sebastopol Independent Charter School reported a new vice principal/student services director role and that their in-person speech therapy shifted to a virtual format.
