The Scott Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees approved its consent agenda at the Oct. 16 regular meeting, approving items 5.1–5.8 including the Sept. 11, 2024 minutes, warrants, contracts for services and materials, and the quarterly Williams Uniform Complaints report. The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Trustee Jennifer Thackeray and seconded by Trustee Jim Harris; the roll call vote was 4‑0‑1 (Brandon Fawaz absent).
The Board also ratified employment actions listed during closed session: Claudia Cousineau was ratified as an after‑school assistant at Etna Elementary School (3.5 hours Mon–Thu, 5 hours Friday) and Abbey Nelson was ratified as a paraprofessional at Fort Jones Elementary (2 hours/day). The consent motion covered approved stipends and extra‑duty hours for classified, short‑term and certificated employees, and authorized listed out‑of‑state/overnight trips.
