Troup County accepts high bids for two surplus properties, sets 60-day closing for Reed Road sale

For 100 Eichelberger Street in LaGrange, staff reported the high bidder as Auto Gallery Chevrolet GMC Inc. (Mark Foster) for $126,300.03; the board approved acceptance under similar 60-day closing terms. Staff and the county attorney discussed that the motions could be combined to accept the high bid and set the closing date following award.
