Community group proposes converting Brook Haven tennis courts to pickleball; Board requests legal review

Board President Deborah Drehmel said the proposal raises legal and planning questions and asked staff to consult the district's legal counsel before any decision on accepting funds from a nonprofit. Superintendent Sara Gramm said she would look into the legal issues; Drehmel cautioned, "It's not a simple project," and noted the district is already engaged in planning for the Park Side upper campus. Trustees did not take action; the item may return on a future agenda after legal review.
