Jeff Germann, Assistant Highway Administrator, presented the weekly highway report, listing work that included hauling rock, grading roads, installing pipes, placing riprap, and shop work. A landowner on 6th Road requested permission to concrete the end of a driveway to prevent washout; the Board approved the request on the condition it be paid for at the landowner’s expense.
Mr. Germann also reported damage to a county belly dump trailer after riprap left in a Bayer Construction loader bucket caused damage while unloading rock. The Board instructed him to submit the incident to KCAMP insurance for review and potential claim processing.
