Gardner also reported that county crews unintentionally struck a fiber line while digging in a marked area; the invoice from Rainbow has been turned into insurance after crews were given the go-ahead to excavate. He said crews began receiving 500 tons of rock from the Soldier quarry and reported energy fees billed through May 22 totaling $4,730.72 and a rock budget balance of $424,748.91.
The Board noted resident concerns about dust on the road to the J6 feedlot and was told the feedlot missed the county dust-control purchase deadline and planned to hire a private contractor. Road and Bridge also reported in-house servicing of a truck and scheduling of other vehicle maintenance.
