The commission approved a standard consent agenda that included the Feb. 3, 2026 meeting minutes, the payment register for the period ending Feb. 17, 2026, tax roll corrections as of Feb. 17 and certification of unpaid delinquent property taxes dated Feb. 9, 2026.
County Clerk Karen Madison presented annual reports from Harvey Township, Omnia Township, Rock Creek Township and Silverdale Township (16 of 25 township reports submitted) and annual reports for Fire Districts 1 and 3 for 2025; the board approved those reports 3-0. Chairman Maxwell signed Certificates of Ownership for memorial-lawn cemetery spaces assigned to Jerry & Delores Walker and Debra Kaye Fry.
Administrator Lucas Goff presented a public notice for a Kansas Water Pollution Control permit application for Creekstone Farms Premium Beef LLC. The commission recessed into an executive session for consultation with legal counsel and to discuss non-elected personnel, returned stating no decisions were made in executive session, and adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
