Commission approves upfitted vehicle for Emergency Services up to $40,000
Summary

Doug Allison, Emergency Management Director, requested authorization to purchase and upfit a fleet vehicle to support county Emergency Services operations. Allison said funding would come from Special Equipment funds, proceeds from two pending vehicle sales and the department's general funds.
Commissioner Wayne Wilt moved and Vice Chairman Alan Groom seconded approval of the purchase not to exceed $40,000; the motion passed 3-0. The minutes do not list make or model beyond the approval ceiling; staff are responsible for procurement and upfitting within the approved amount.
The purchase was recorded as an operational authorization under the Emergency Management program; the commission did not attach additional conditions in the minutes.
