Grantsville officials press to advance ring-road and North Depot connection

During the map review participants discussed the sequence of rings around Grantsville and where to place phasing colors. One attendee asked whether the progression should be from inner rings outward; others argued the extension of SR-112 to Burmester and the Jeff Dupay Road connection to the freeway should be advanced to reflect funding commitments and local priorities.
Matt Gray and local staff asked that the North Depot Road, currently shown in phase 3, be prioritized earlier to help divert traffic off main street. After discussion several participants recommended reassigning certain pieces from yellow to blue or red so design and grant applications can proceed.
