Council approves contract change order for Royal City soccer field and directs safety fixes near clinic

Finance Director Janice Flynn presented the contract with Northwest Turf Solutions, Change Order #1 (amending sod use) and Pay Application No. 1 for reimbursement. Council approved authorizing the Mayor to sign the contract, the change order and Pay App No. 1 (m/s Garcia/Fanning).
During the item, Councilmember Kannely raised concerns about potential trip and fall hazards around the Confluence Clinic. Public Works Director Mauricio Romero said he will review the site and correct identified hazards as part of project oversight.
