County authorizes chair to sign Health Department grant applications

Health Director Melissa Miller asked the board to authorize submission of Fiscal Year 2026-27 Ellis County Health Department grant applications and requested the chair's signature on signature pages.
Commissioner Nathan Leiker moved for the chair to sign the signature pages of the health department grant applications; Commissioner Michael Berges seconded. The motion passed by voice vote of three to zero.
The authorization enables staff to submit required grant applications and attachments to funding agencies for the 2026-27 fiscal year.
