Staff and commissioners discussed whether the awards are separate and how they should appear on the business meeting agenda. A grants staff member said the funds are awarded individually and recommended four separate votes; the county manager and commissioners agreed to list the four items as separate actions on tonight’s agenda so each grant application can be considered individually.
The board did not vote on the applications during the work session; staff will place the four application approvals on the evening agenda.
