Parks Director Adam Backus reported progress on multiple parks projects during the Feb. 12 meeting. At Ledge View the cave display installation is finished and flooring repairs are under way as part of the remodeling project. Director Backus characterized the remodeling and repairs as progressing and noted ongoing work on flooring.
At the Southend campsites the commission was told crews installed 50 AMP electrical service and water hookups; finishing touches are scheduled for early spring. These infrastructure upgrades are intended to improve campsite amenities ahead of the 2026 season. No additional funding actions were taken during the meeting.
