Winn Parish tax assessor reports higher 2025 assessed values; Jury certifies tax roll

Winn Parish Tax Assessor Lawrence Desadier presented the 2025 ad valorem assessment totals and asked the Police Jury to certify the tax roll.
Desadier reported total assessed values of $110,919,134 for 2025, up from $107,435,591 in 2024; total exempt/HS value of $18,042,067 (2025) and total taxable value of $92,877,067 (2025), compared with $89,212,225 the prior year. He said the Assessor’s Office complied with Louisiana Tax Commission rules, opened rolls for public exposure and reported zero appeals forwarded to the Police Jury secretary.
On a motion by Author Robinson, seconded by Kyle Potts, the Jury certified the 2025 ad valorem tax rolls. The vote recorded five yeas, zero nays, one absent and one abstained among members present.
