Donny Moon of Winn Parish 4‑H presented a summary of the club's 2025 achievements to the Police Jury, noting a string of contest placements and expanded participation. Moon listed 26 blue ribbons at the 4‑HU state contest, top finishes in consumer food and forestry contests, multiple team placements in ATV safety and consumer decision making, and selection of teams and individuals for regional and national competitions.
Moon said 4‑H provided training to more than 120 youth and adults in CRM ATV safety, Stop the Bleed, CPR and first aid, that 4‑H club membership stands at approximately 600 members (about 41% enrollment), and that program activities reached students through camps, regional challenge events and school visits. He thanked the Jury for continued support of the program.
