The Miami County Board of Commissioners approved several routine administrative items on May 4, including VPN access for Alexys Loudermilk (Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Environmental Health), payroll and claims, and an equipment payment. Chad Watson requested payment of $3,600 for dump truck design and materials, which the board approved to be paid out of the docket; all motions passed 3–0.
Commissioner Keith Musselman asked that previous meeting minutes be amended to clarify that two commissioners rescinded a prior Solid Waste vote because the treasurer did not have time to read the document, not under pressure. The board approved the amended minutes 3–0. The auditor agreed to adjust a per-diem claim by Kurt Keifer after he submits documentation showing two overnight stays.
