At its June 2 meeting the Horry County Council approved multiple second‑reading ordinances and rezoning items on the record, with no public speakers recorded on those items.
Items approved on second reading or by motion included Ordinances 34‑2026, 35‑2026, 306‑2026, 37‑2026 and rezoning ordinances 51‑2026, 52‑2026, 50‑2026 (Earthworks agent for Calvary Chapel Myrtle Beach), 54‑2026 (Judson Scott et al.), 55‑2026, 56‑2026, 58‑2026, 59‑2026, and 61‑2026. The chair called the voice vote and the ayes carried on each matter. The record also noted that Mr. DeCeboto recused himself from Ordinance 54‑2026.
Procedural items including the agenda, minutes from the May 19 meeting, and the consent agenda were moved, seconded and approved unanimously earlier in the meeting.
