Nederland posts 2025 Consumer Confidence Report; water supervisor says no major issues

Michael Mitchell, Nederland's water-treatment plant supervisor, presented the city's 2025 Consumer Confidence Report and said the report is posted and has been submitted to the regulator. "It lists the violations that we had over the current year, and it lists... the analytes that they require us to post," Mitchell said, describing required entries such as chloramine and chlorine-residual levels, lead and copper results and source-water information.
Mitchell said the report is largely generated from the regulator’s system (TCEQ) and that there is "not a lot to report on it"; he offered to answer questions from council or citizens. No member of the council or public requested further discussion at the meeting and staff closed the item.
