The American Fork City Council on April 14 voted to accept a petition for annexation of roughly 9.15 acres near Boat Harbor Road (between 1100 South and 1500 South), a parcel described as the last unannexed tract in that incorporated peninsula area.
Patrick O'Brien, Development Services Director, told the council the annexation is expected to be straightforward for a single parcel and that the annexation agreement and supporting documents would be returned to the council in about two months after applicant review. Councilmember Ernie John moved to adopt the resolution accepting the petition and Councilmember Tim Holley seconded; the motion passed by recorded vote.
Staff will prepare the annexation agreement and required notifications under state law before bringing the item back for formal action.
