Committee reviews Brown Act changes and considers hybrid meetings

Member Greg Clark said hybrid meetings could increase participation for members who face travel, scheduling, or physical limitations and could make it easier to invite guest speakers from other parts of California. Chair Patricia Sullivan said she will consult with County Counsel to determine whether the Executive Committee needs to take a formal vote to implement hybrid meetings.
Members discussed outreach methods to notify the public and board members if hybrid participation is adopted.
