HDR engineer Karli Frohling told the board that Wildwood Golf Course had not provided promised survey data needed for Burlington Dam 3 design. Frohling said HDR could proceed with some design work without the survey but that the data would be helpful. She presented eight alternatives intended to reduce hydraulic rolling effects at the structure.
Chair Tom Klein said he would contact Aaron Faken of the golf course before the May meeting to request the information. After discussion, the board voted 5-0 to postpone action on Burlington Dam 3 until May to allow for additional outreach and data collection.
The postponement keeps design options open while staff attempt to secure the missing survey data; HDR indicated it can continue preliminary assessments without the survey but prefers to incorporate the provided field data into final design work.
