The St. Helena Parish Police Jury acknowledged a notice from the Louisiana Office of Community Development (OCD-DOA) authorizing advertisement for bids and awarding contracts on approved FY 2024–2025 CWEF activities totaling $140,000. The jury then unanimously adopted a resolution to apply for FY 2025–2026 CWEF funds for Water Works District No. 2.
The jury approved invoice #6 from Holly & Smith Architects for $2,635.50 payable from ARPA funds and certificate of payment #1 from Brunt Construction, Inc. for $187,561.88 for the Audubon Regional Library Project #14024-R, also payable from ARPA funds. The body approved Amendment No. 3 to the Professional Services Agreement with PD Consulting, LLC to add Task Order No. 3 for grants and project management services related to Hurricane Ida recovery, covering FEMA and LA GOHSEP project worksheets, and approved multiple PD Consulting invoices for Charlie Overton Park renovations and OMV relocation renovations payable from RCIP funds.
Approvals were recorded by roll call where indicated. The jury's actions enable bid advertisement and funding steps for water and recovery-related capital projects.
