Sibley presented the draft budget for juror review; jurors acknowledged the timeline for adoption but took no final action on budget figures.
Jurors also did not take action on an engagement letter from Sibley & Newell, CPA, that would outline services for the years ending Dec. 31, 2026 and Dec. 31, 2027. The lack of action leaves the audit/accounting engagement unapproved pending future consideration. The next regular Police Jury meeting is scheduled for Nov. 12, 2025; the budget hearing and adoption are scheduled for Dec. 16, 2025.
