President Jon Adams and Clerk/Treasurer Robyn Meek told the Board that Patty Jackson of SIRPC is conducting an income study for customers of Dupont Sewage as part of preparations to pursue an ORCA grant to improve the town's sewage utilities. The Board recorded that letters were mailed to all Dupont residents served by the system to solicit information for the study.
The study and prospective grant application are intended to support funding for sewer improvements; no award has been secured and the Board did not vote on grant acceptance at this meeting. The Board flagged the ORCA grant application as a priority item for staff follow-up and potential future budget implications.
